The cooperative is located in the village of San Juan del Rio Coco, in the north of the country.

Created in 2008 by hundreds of partners, the cooperative is a non-profit organisation gathering associated producers, a quarter of whom are women.

They cover a total production area of ​​nearly 250 hectares in the north of the country. Which indicates that the average surface area of ​​a farms is 2.7 ha. The associates are small to very small producers: 90% of the partners are small producers with less than 5 ha; 10% only own farms between 5 and 15 ha.

The coopeative is proudly self-reliant, efficiently producing and marketing certified coffee and other products for the use of the comunity. The partners mainly produce Caturra and Catuai, which represent 70% of production, and of this lot. We also find 20% of Catimor and, more recent varieties, like Marseillaisa, catimor, Parainema...
